John Ristevski
Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
John RistevskiAs founder and Co-CEO, John is currently focused on the general management and software development ends of the earthmine business.  He is a co‐inventor of earthmine’s core technology, having created the software architecture of the system and developing the image capture system, processing pipeline and web delivery systems. Prior to founding earthmine, John was Director of R&D at Cyark, where he led the development efforts including field work and web portal development, and has been a consultant with Land Victoria, the Australian state government entity responsible for maintaining the state’s geospatial framework, helping them reengineer their systems for web delivery of their services. John brings his PhD research from Berkeley in applied Laser Scanning Technology degrees from the University of Melbourne in both Geomatic Engineering and Law.  He has highly regarded expertise in reality capture technologies, management of geospatial information, and web delivery. He continues to be a lecturer at Stanford’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Department.

Anthony Fassero
Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer
Anthony FasseroAs founder and co-CEO, Anthony is focused on the operational aspects of the earthmine business including hardware development and data coverage and scaling.  Anthony is the co‐inventor of earthmine’s core technology having focused on hardware design and development, image processing workflow, interface and tools design, and data collection operations for the company. Prior to founding earthmine, Anthony was at the Kacyra Family foundation working on Cyark, an archive of 3D data from historical sites. Entrepreneurial by nature, Anthony has done work in web development, asset and site management, and professional photography. He brings expertise in photogrammetry, image‐based modeling, AEC spatial information products, calibration and design. He met John Ristevski while doing his Architectural thesis work at UC Berkeley.

Kris Kelsay
Chief Marketing Officer
Kris KelsayKris has worked with the team since company inception in 2006, and joined the management team full time in May of 2007. She brings over 20 years of technology marketing experience including over 200 new company, product and service launches. Prior to joining earthmine, she spent 8 years as Principal of [Launch!], a consulting practice focused on helping technology companies bring their new ideas to market. Prior to founding that company, held a variety of executive management positions at Wall Data, Incorporated including Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Business Unit Manager for the SALSA division.  Prior to Wall Data, Kris held a number of senior management positions at Borland International where she helped define and launch some of the industry’s first Window’s-based products into the market. Based out of Mercer Island, Washington, Kris is an active member of Seraph Capital forum, an all-woman’s angel investment group, and the Seattle high technology community.  

Paul Smith
Chief Strategy Officer
Paul SmithPaul Smith joined earthmine, inc. in May 2008 to manage the significant strategic partnership interest  in the company and its technology.  A geospatial industry veteran, Paul brings over 25 years of experience in GIS, remote sensing, and location-based data products.  Prior to joining earthmine, Paul was a Vice President at DigitalGlobe, one of only two Satellite imagery companies in the world, where he drove company growth by targeting and developing key technology partnerships and global business alliances.  Paul joined DigitalGlobe through the acquisition of GlobeXplorer, where he was Chief Operating Officer and a founder.  Under his direction, GlobeXplorer became an early leader in global earth imagery content aggregation now common on the Internet. He is a frequent speaker on location based web services and has extensive experience working with search portals, leading navigation companies, geographic content providers, international governments, as well as GIS software suppliers.
